About

Land Survey Ventura

We are gifted with a rich history and contribute to the further evolution of the science and art of surveying.

Ever since Joshua Habermel originated using a theodolite with a compass and tripod in 1576, the practice of land surveying has continuously evolved. Early surveyor, Johnathon Sission, first incorporated a telescope with the theodolite in 1725. In the 18th century, modern techniques and instruments for surveying began to be used.  There are even a number of types of new equipment that have been invented or brought into use just in  the most recent few years.

Today, our equipment includes EDMs, digital theodites, digital levels, data collectors, and total station equipment, and GPS.  GPS which stands for”Global Positioning System" is used everywhere in a modern world from mobile phones to your car’s navigation system. Luckily for us, its also one of the most useful advanced technologies for the surveying industry.

At Land Survey Ventura, we know that you may only need a survey done once or twice in a lifetime.  Commercial clients require highly professional surveyors on a continuous basis.  In both cases, we utilize all the high tech modern equipment. This allows us to be more precise, accurate, and efficient in theway we define the volumes and areas of land and materials for construction. We guaranty that any building construction happens in the correct relative and absolute position on the land plot. And we record the final position of the construction, including the inevitable design changes. In dispute cases, we will gladly accompany you to court as an expert witness.
